Huawei Honor 3C Dual-SIM Smartphone

The smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with OTP single screen lenovo K860i technology. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 MediaTek (MTK6582) processor with a Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The Honor 3C Play comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB.
It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. On the connectivity front, the Honor 3C Play includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0 options.
The Huawei Honor 3C packs a 2000mAh battery, measures 142.2x72.3x9.4mm and weighs 156 grams. It comes in Black and White colour variants.
Huawei is expected to launch its much-rumoured Ascend Mate 3 phablet at the IFA 2014 event, alongside a new Honor-branded smartphone.
The rumoured Ascend Mate 3 that's expected to be launched at the pre-IFA 2014 event is a phablet that was leaked in an image last month, alongside purported specifications. The company may also launch the recently leaked Huawei Ascend Mate 7.
Huawei has launched a new smartphone in its Honor series, the Honor 3C Play (DB LINK), days ahead of the company's September 4 IFA 2014 event.
Currently listed as 'out of stock' on the Huawei Mobile Shop website, the Honor 3C Play is priced at $176.90 (roughly Rs. 10,600). The smartphone's global availability details are not yet known.
The Huawei Honor 3C Play is an affordable version of the Honor 3C, which was launched in India in May.
The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone with dual standby runs the now-dated Android 4.2 mi power bank buy Jelly Bean, just like the Honor 3C. There is no word on whether Huawei will be issuing the Honor 3C Play and Android KitKat OS update.

Chinese companies enter global smartphone market

But as a full-featured phone, the Huawei is a bargain. Its display is a high-quality LCD (720 by 1280 pixels, 241 ppi), and a 13mp camera specs of ZTE V956 with autofocus, face and smile detection, geo tagging for selfies and Skype.
It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor, has 16 GB memory expandable using up to a 64 GB micro SD card. One of its biggest features (literally) is a whopping 3,900 mAh non-removable battery that provides about two days of use. That compares with the Note’s 3,200 mAh cell and the iPhone with 1,450 mAh.
The Mate2 fully supports AT&T, T-Mobile and any GSM provider in the United States. This includes some of the no-contract MVNOs (mobile virtual network operator) such as Straight Talk, Cricket, and MetroPCS. I tried the phone on a Net 10 MVNO and the phone worked well.
The phone makes a few compromises. The display has about a third lower resolution than a top Samsung phone, yet in my use the display was plenty sharp for reading text and showed no pixilation.
Because Google provides the software, operationally there’s very little difference between this phone and other Android models. Each company offers its own user interface on top of the basic Android design. I preferred the Huawei UI over Samsung because its interface was simple and more iPhone-like, and it wasn’t loaded up with lots of crapware and hard-to-use utilities, something Samsung is notorious for doing. As a result, the Huawei is truer to Google’s reference design.
I found the phone’s size had both pluses and minuses. I liked the fact that the keyboard is larger and I made far fewer typing mistakes than on my HTC with a 5-inch display. It was also easier to browse and read websites such as The New York Times. On the other hand, the phone can barely be used with one hand. Huawei adds a clever utility that provides soft keys such as “back” and “home” to the edge of the display that make it easier to access with one hand.
As to support, Huawei says phones sold in the United States through the website will come with up to a two-year warranty, including U.S.-based customer support over the phone, and free return shipping. The phone is not sold through any carrier partners, only on GetHuawei.com and Amazon.com.
Clearly, this is one of the best phone bargains I’ve come across. Both Huawei and Xiomi have full lines of phones, most of which offer big savings over other Android makes.
What does this mean for the future? I would expect these companies to hurt Samsung most of all, who has led the Android phone market. Apple also needs to be wary. This is the start of full-featured, powerful smartphones at prices unimaginable just a few years ago.
Both Apple and Samsung are poised to introduce new smartphones in early September. It’s a yearly ritual that highlights the intense competition between the two leading phone makers, each vying to outdo the other. Most expect Apple to release an iPhone design with a larger 4.7-inch display and Samsung to release a Galaxy 5 with a more substantial enclosure.
But while these two companies are fighting it out, they’re beginning to face serious competition from some fast-growing competitors in China. I got a preview when I was there in July and saw how many consumers were moving away from Samsung and Apple and buying new products from Chinese phone makers, specifically Xiaomi and Huawei.
These companies were offering phones unlike what I’d previously seen in China specs of ZTE Nubia Z5 — not the poorly made crude knockoffs with buggy software, but solidly constructed devices that look and work much like Samsung models. All of these phones run Android, the free operating system from Google.
Surprisingly, they are less than half the price of comparable Samsung models. Where a Samsung Galaxy or Note costs about $650, these phones retail for $150 to $300, and come unlocked.
China’s Huawei is now the world’s third-largest phone manufacturer, behind Samsung and Apple. Xiaomi has captured 21 percent of the sales in China compared to Samsung’s 23 percent, Apple’s 16 percent and Huawei’s 8 percent, and is expected to be No. 1 in sales in China this year. Huawei, focused more on the international market, is forecast to sell more than 100 million phones worldwide this year, double from last year. Both of these companies offer a wide variety of models, with most under $300.
I’ve been testing one of Huawei’s latest models, the Ascend Mate 2. It looks much like the Samsung Note with its thin profile and large 6.1-inch display. It’s in the phablet category, measuring 6.34 by 3.33 by 0.37 inches and weighing 7.13 ounces. That compares to the latest Note 3 measuring 5.95 by 3.12 by 0.33 inches and weighing 5.93 ounces. The Note, it should be noted, also has a digitizer that allows writing with its included stylus.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport

Samsung did add some new stuff into the software this go ’round. When you unlock the device, it will look similar to just about every other device. But Sprint and Samsung have a few other apps they’ve packed in. One of those is Activity Zone. The Activity Zone shows you the Barometer, Compass, Flashlight and stopwatch. Which is good if you’re going on a hike. There is also a shortcut to the S Health app inside the Activity Zone, which is still one of my favorite apps. Screenshot price of ThL Ultrathin 4400 There’s also MapMyFitness. Which is kinda like Runtastic, as it will map your runs, walks, cycling, etc. You do get 6 months of free premium membership, but after that it’s $5.99/month. So at least you get to try it out before having to shell out that cash. It is a pretty nice app for those that do a lot of running, but still hard to justify it over Runtastic, since they both have all the same features. Otherwise, all of the usual Samsung features are here like S Voice, S Health, and the Samsung App Store just to name a few. Sprint has their own fair share of bloat on here as well. We’ve got 1Weather, Amazon, eBay, Eureka Offers, Flipboard, Messaging+, Nascar Mobile 2014, NBA Gametime, NextRadio, POLARIS Office 5, Scout, Spotify, Sprint Framily Wall, Sprint ID, Sprint Music Plus, Sprint TV & Movies, Sprint Zone, and WiFi Calling.
This is literally the exact same camera as we had on the Galaxy S5. So there’s not a whole lot to say here. But I have plenty of pictures down below for you to check out.
It’s a great phone, but if you don’t have coverage from Sprint, I wouldn’t recommend leaving your current service provider for this phone. Everything this phone does differently – software wise – you can do with apps on the regular Galaxy S5. If only it was available on all four carriers and in other countries.
Samsung has a track record of putting out all kinds of crazy variants of their flagships, especially the Galaxy S series. Last year we had the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom and Galaxy S4 Mini. This year we’ve got the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S5 Active, Galaxy S5 Mini and Galaxy S5 Sport. We’re already reviewed the Galaxy S5, and the Galaxy S5 Active. Which the Galaxy S5 Sport shares a lot of the same features as the Galaxy S5 Active. Have we confused you yet? I’ve been using the Galaxy S5 Sport on Sprint’s network for the past couple of weeks, and for the most part it’s been pretty good. But this review isn’t about Sprint’s network, but about The Galaxy S5 Sport. However, I will say that this is the first device from Sprint that I’ve used since they started WiFi calling. And it does work rather well.
As far as hardware goes, it’s basically a mix of the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S5 Active. And what I mean by that is the back still has that dimpled pattern from the Galaxy S5, although it’s not the entire back. Then the front, it looks a lot like the Galaxy S5 Active, but without the extra bumpers on the corners. I actually really like how the Galaxy S5 Sport looks, especially in blue. It’s also not that slippery. Now it’s not as grippy (is that even a word?) as the Galaxy S5, but pretty close. Everything is in all the usual places, we’ve got the power button on the right side, volume rocker on the left, Micro USB port on the bottom and 3.5mm headphone jack up top. On the back is the 16MP camera price of THL 5000 , flash and heart rate monitor. Along with the speaker down at the bottom. We’ve got physical buttons on the bottom of the front. For recents, home and back. I actually really like the buttons, as they do stand out. When you’re using the Galaxy S5 in the dark, it can be a little difficult to find the capacitive buttons as they blend in so well. The heart rate monitor works the same as it has on all of Samsung’s other devices. Set it up on S Health and let it read your heart rate and it’s ready to go a few seconds later.
As far as battery life goes, it wasn’t perfect. After using the LG G3 for the past month or so I’d have to say that the Galaxy S5 Sport didn’t live up to the G3′s battery life, unfortunately. I was able to get around 3-4 hours on screen on wifi. Which compared to the G3, I usually get around 6 or more hours on wifi.

Sony Xperia C vs Samsung Galaxy S5

Speaking of the phone’s display, the Xperia is just an underwhelming 540 x 960 resolution and a pixel density of 220 PPI lenovo P700 . This is totally a blow-away from those 5-inch and 1080 P flagship phones. You have to keep in mind though that the Xperia C is a budget phone, so typically, you get what you pay for. Now that price is mentioned, you’ll also get what you pay for too. For its price, The Galaxy S5 will give you those super flashy and highly impressive AMOLED screens whose technology has just gotten better. With its very vivid and vibrant colors and very deep black levels, the Galaxy S5’s display is totally enticing. Galaxy S5’s display has greatly improved compared to the inaccurate saturation and color imbalance from its predecessor phones. Viewing angles on the Galaxy S5 is totally impressive. There might be color alteration in some parts, but it can go unnoticed with the contrast and brightness unaltered. For the Xperia C, viewing angles are limited and to put it lightly, sort of crappy – but decent enough for basic use. Another disappointment with the Xperia C is the lack of protection in the screen. It just has nothing! You’ll better gear it up and put in additional protection if you don’t want scratches dimming your view.
Taking a look on the inside, the Xperia C basically fares for its price. It houses a 1.2GHz quad-core MT6589 processor that does most tasks decently. Gaming wouldn’t be a very pleasant experience when it comes to this phone. To be specific, games such Minion Rush and NOVA 3 will experience some lags and bumps. RAM is fairly decent which is at 1GB. It would be best if you add in a micro SD to amp things up. For the Samsung Galaxy S5, it has the state of the art Snapdragon 801 system chip which features a lightning fast quad core Krait 400 CPU. Gaming would be super fast and it will never bog down no matter how many applications you open. If you need to multitask, the Galaxy S5 is perfect for this.
To conclude things, Galaxy S5 is totally the better phone – just because it is a high-end one. If you are short on the budget, the Xperia C will do just fine too.
Sony and Samsung are two of the most promising brands in the market today. They have featured lots of smart phones in the market that caught the attention of the public and has made an entirely different mode in the industry. With this, the companies continued to reign as they launched two of their flagships, the Xperia C and Galaxy S5.
If you are baffled as to which phone to choose between the Sony Xperia C and the Samsung Galaxy S5, here is a comprehensive review between these two phones. It is still of prime importance to take note of the things that you deem important so you can choose the best one that fits you best.
Speaking of the design, the Xperia C is more or less identical to the most contemporary Sony phones Lenovo K920 price with its obvious OmniBalance design. But like other Sony phones, you’re getting the usual rectangular phone with thick bezels that are a bit too large for its size. But the design still looks premium. The matte finish plastic of the back is impressive. All buttons on the Xperia C all have positive feedback from the users.
Speaking of the Galaxy S5, it has this ultra Glam look that gives both warmth and approachability with hint of class. Samsung was never a winner when it comes to aesthetics – but with the Galaxy S5, they have bagged the prize this time. Samsung has shied away from the ugly faux leather look that was predominant on the Note 3 and changed it to a rubbery plastic finish that comes with a dotted pattern. It gives an overall comfortable feeling with a touch of sturdiness and durability. It doesn’t give this slippery feel when you hold it, unlike the Xperia C and other flagship phones.

Huawei Ascend P6 Review

Although its 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is not a Full HD display, its 720 x 1280-pixel price of ZTE V5 Red Bull U9180 resolution and 312 ppi pixel density still provides crisp and vibrant images with excellent viewing angles. For outdoor viewing, you can keep the brightness no less than 50 percent for solid blacks and colorful hues. It also has a noticeable resilience to fingerprints. Overall, its display is as sweet as it looks.
The same, however, cannot be said for its processor. Many critics are commenting that it sometimes tend to lag. Still its quad-core processor is still apt.
Meanwhile, camera-wise, the Ascend P6 is a surprisingly good shooter on both ends. Its 8 MP primary camera with 3264 x 2448 pixels, autofocus, and an LED flash is pretty much ordinary.
But its macro function is something. Huawei even boasted its "distance-defying" 4cm capabilities. The more impressive camera is the 5 MP secondary one. The company has given much attention on the selfie camera that could now do more than just video chat.
In the end, the Huawei Ascend P6 is not really that much of a sweet treat. It doesn’t have specs or features that would blow your mind. Still, if you are after the looks, then this handset is definitely a worthy choice.
Huawei Ascend P6 review: Specs of the Android-powered Huawei Ascend P6 is decent. It’s powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, sports a 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, and has a 2 GB RAM memory, 8 to 16 GB internal storage (expandable to 32 GB), Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS (upgradable to 4.4 KitKat), and an 8 MP primary camera. It’s a good handset with some great features that could have delivered more.
With a premium price, Huawei hopes to step up the game with the release of this sleek and ultrathin smartphone, promising more beauty than brains or brawns. In fact, its dimension of 5.22 x 2.58 x 0.24 inches and weight of 120 grams is quite impressive. But is that the only extraordinary quality that this handset has?
Its stunningly slim body has a black brushed-metal finish at the back with a Gorilla Glass display and drilled speaker holes at the bottom. Also available in white and pink, the Ascend P6’s metallic body feels great and solid. engadget.com even says, “When put next to Samsung's Galaxy S 4 price of Xiaomi Hongmi 1S , for example, it makes the Korean flagship look and feel shamefully thrown together.”
