The Nexus 5 houses an 8 MP primary camera too and it comes with almost similar features such as autofocus, optical image stabilization and LED flash wholesale ZTE Grand Memo 5S (V5S) . The secondary camera is the same as the one found in G3 Beat: 1.3 MP.
Readers should note that although both devices have the same pixel count, the G3 Beat has an edge when it comes to the primary camera's laser focus, which is the same as the one found on the LG G3 flagship device. But for readers who do not use the camera very often, the camera on the Nexus 5 does a reasonably good job; it also supports full HD video recording at 30 fps.
The LG G3 Beat is equipped with Li-Ion 2540 mAh battery, which allows for a talk time of about 15 hours on 3G. The Nexus 5, on the other hand, has a Li-Po 2300 mAh battery that's non-removable. With it, a talk time of about 17 hours on 3G is possible.
The LG G3 Beat 4G LTE variant is priced at around AU $329.95. The Nexus 5 16 GB variant is slightly more expensive at around AU $399.95. Meanwhile, the 32 GB device is available at around AU $449.95.
The LG G3 Beat comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. On the other hand, the Nexus 5 features a 4.95-inch True HD IPS+ capacitive touch screen, boasting a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Nexus 5 is the better choice in this category with its 445 ppi pixels display density compared with the 294 ppi pixels display density on the G3 Beat.
Users will be able to see a marked difference in the sharpness of the images between the two devices. This will be especially useful to users who play high-end games with heavy graphics on their smartphones.
The LG G3 Beat measures 137.7 x 69.6 x 10.3 mm and weighs 134 grams. The Nexus 5 has a similar design, measuring 137.9 x 69.2 x 8.6 mm and weighing a little less than the G3 beat at 130 grams.
The LG G3 Beat boasts a 1.2 GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. Though it only offers 8 GB of internal memory, it can be expanded by up to 64 GB using a Micro SD card.
Meanwhile, under the hood of Nexus 5 is a 2.3 GHz quad core Krait 400 processor and Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset. It is available in 16 GB and 32 GB internal memory variants but with no Micro SD slot for additional memory.
One disadvantage of the G3 Beat is the low internal memory option. To some extent, this may also be the reason why the device has a lower price. The company makes up for it though by offering a memory expansion slot which is not available on the Nexus 5.
Both devices run on the Android KitKat operating system. The LG G3 has 1 GB of RAM while the Nexus 5 has 2 GB wholesale KINGSING S1 . In terms of computing power, The Nexus 5 is the clear winner, as its huge RAM means the device is faster and especially handy when multi-tasking or running multiple apps simultaneously.
